Paycheck Game has been the author of a couple of certified classic West Virginia Hip Hop songs and my personal favorite Dub Vee CD (Grim Reaper Theme Music). With this song, a song that anybody who has ever had a member of their family step foot underground can feel deep down inside, anybody who remembers the sadness that the whole state felt during this whole ordeal will remember those feelings .... he has made another classic. DJ Coutz laid the perfect backdrop for this record and Check delivered this song from a perspective that nobody has ever done before. I don't think any artist in WV and very few hip hop artists in the whole country consistently deliver such heartfelt and emotion stirring records the way that Paycheck does.

Charlestons J Illa and Rodo both were featured on a couple of tracks on his last release this being one of them. Cyn blessed several beats for Shy and is lined up to produce a very significant chunk of his next solo project. Both Illa and Rodo are currently serving time in the Federal Correctional System with Rodo due to be home in about a year and a half and Illa serving about 2 1/2 more. When keeping it real goes wrong!

Some MCs should just keep a lot of thoughts to themselves. When your Mic game isn't really up to par and your friends and the other artists you work with aren't really keeping it real with you sometimes it leads to situation where you "keeping it real" goes horribly wrong. I am pretty sure that even after dissing Ceasar, Siki The Grand Imperial didn't actually expect to be matched up with Dub Vee legend D.O.Ceasar on a track vs track freestyle comparison over the same Mobb Deep beat and I'm not even sure if this happened on purpose but it sure worked out that way. After this I think it's pretty easy to see why one of these guys is the King of the Appy's and the other guy is King of the Applebee's bathroom.

Problem Child signed to Paycheck Games label last year to alot of raised eyebrows in the WV Hip Hop community due to Problems history of biting the hand that fed him when dealing with his first label situation at Holla Boy Records. History they say is doomed to repeat itself, and it has. Problem Child has been online "dropping" himself from the label and badmouthing Paycheck, SoundVizion, Ace Beanz and DJ MonstaLung among others.




He did give us a new song to check out that was going to be featured on his "The Lost Notebook" mixtape/album that he has been saying was going to come out for quite a while.
