I try to go to as many shows as I can locally and I usually find out about them on one of two places. Facebook or WVRapScene's forums.
If you want to go check out some of the artists I have been posting music of make sure you check out www.WVRapScene.com/forum and look at the Events section for local shows and parties.
You can't beat that forum for discussions about local music.
